PALMS’ BIG REVEAL: A WEEKEND OF PURE KAOS
It was one of the all-time nightclub openings on or off Las Vegas Boulevard. The Palms went all in with a glitzy four day (and night) celebration of KAOS.
The debut included performances by rap sensation Cardi B, Marshmello, J Balvin, and G-Eazy. A dramatic moment came when G-Eazy invited archrival Machine Gun Kelly on stage to team up on “Loco,” calling a truce in their long-standing feud.
Kascade heated up KAOS Dayclub on Saturday and the Zac Brown Band kicked off KAOS’ Pool Concert Series that evening.
Alicia Keys performed in the Pearl Concert Theater while Travis Scott, Skrillex, Saint Jhn, Austin Mahone, XZibit and Scott Storch entertained inside KAOS Nightclub.
Star chefs Bobby Flay was on hand for the grand opening of his latest Las Vegas restaurant, SHARK. Also spotted: big-name chefs Michael Symon, co-host of ABC’s “The Chew” and Marc Vetri, who built a culinary empire in Philadelphia.
Massive serpentine lines wound through and outside the Palms.
The weekend represented the big reveal of the entertainment centerpieces of the $690 reimagination and repositioning of the off-Strip property that opened in 2001. There’s 73,000 square feet of dayclub space and 29,000 inside.
