RAIDERS WILL PREPARE PLAYERS FOR CITY OF MASS DISTRACTIONS
Oakland Raiders president Marc Badain responded to a question on the minds of many: How will the Raiders behave in the city with so many weapons of mass distractions? “We’ve had discussions both with the league as well as our player engagement folks on how we’re going to ramp that up,” he said during an interview in Phoenix after the NFL approved the Raiders’ request to relocate to Las Vegas.
“We’re going to have a lot of education. We’re going to have kids coming into a lot of money and we want to make sure they are prepared for that and that’s on us,” he said. “We’ll do a good job with that.
“(Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie) will do a good job of bringing in the right type of guys and we’ll put the infrastructure and support system in place to take care of that.”
